Perfect Patch Flowers is a small-scale artisan flower farm based in the Lincolnshire fens, between Lincoln and Bardney.
I grow a wide variety of seasonal flowers and foliage to sell to local florists and to the general public, between May and October. Alongside the fresh flowers, I sell a selection of pressed and dried flower products all year round, which you can view here.
The Story
The flower farming journey started in 2020 during the coronavirus lockdown. What started out as a tiny plot in a bare agricultural field is now a vibrant and abundant flower patch teeming with biodiversity, with most of the infrastructure constructed from second hand materials.
As part of my effort to reduce the environmental impact of the flower farm, I have chosen to grow without the use of chemicals, any water is predominantly rainwater harvested and I use very minimal energy.

Before Perfect Patch Flowers, I did graphic design work for a small marketing agency called Arora Marketing and ran a micro-business called Beth’s Boards. Having grown up on a farm, I’ve always been keen to explore a more ‘land-based, outdoorsy’ job and so Perfect Patch Flowers has been the perfect opportunity for me to do just that! I’ve loved time away from the computer screen and connecting with nature.
